jordanaire Posted June 9, 2018 #1 Share Posted June 9, 2018 After sailing with Carnival 21 times, my wife and I just booked the April 7, 2019 sailing of the Allure of the Seas. We need as much info as possible to prepare us for this cruise, like: Soda Packages (how much?) Entertainment Reservations? (how does it work and when do you make them) Do you print out your own luggage tags? Where can a guy smoke his cigars without getting in trouble? Tips or clues to having a great time aboard the Allure? I'm sure I will come up with a hundred more questions as the days go by. Looking forward to sailing with RCL once again! Clarea Posted June 9, 2018 #2 Share Posted June 9, 2018 No set time for entertainment reservations to open, keep checking your Cruise Planner. You should be able to download luggage tags around 7 weeks before the cruise. Cigar smoking allowed on the outside of the port side of decks 15 and 16. katiel53 Posted June 9, 2018 #4 Share Posted June 9, 2018 The soda package, booked through the cruise planner, is $8.50 plus 18% gratuity daily. Last year when we purchased it onboard it was $9.50 plus gratuities. I have not seen it cheaper than the $8.50 daily.

To the Op, if the cruise planner does not show any entertainment within 60 days of your cruise call the "Pre-cruise Planner Dept." (800) 398-9819. Mamma Mia, OceanAria, and the Ice Games/Show are not to be missed. Enjoyed it so much on our Easter Allure cruise. Also: (a) stop by Central Park Café and pick up one of those delicious roast beef sandwiches, and (b) Tutti salad bar on sea days in the MDR. Enjoy your cruise. Ourusualbeach Posted June 9, 2018 #8 Share Posted June 9, 2018 I meant on some of the fleet. Given that Bob answered directly with a response that pertained to Allure I had assumed that you were inquiring about Allure.
