Ruby Plaza Deck

This will be our first time on Princess. We usually choose oceanview cabins midship on a lower deck. In the case of Ruby Princess, this will put us very close to and under public areas. I am looking at the P33X cabins, both port and starboard. I see the doors between the cabins and the Piazza. Are these doors normally closed? I have seen conflicting information on whether they are open during the day and whether guests can even use them, Is noise from the Piazza an issue for these cabins? What about noise from stabilizers? What about noise from above (casino and bars?) Our other option will be obstructed ocean view on the Emerald Deck. Thanks!
