I have Royal Carribean Stock.

Recommended Posts

I have Royal Carribean Stock witch used to give me on board credit when I sailed with them, but it's been awhile. Is this still policy? Can it be used in conjunction with reward points from my Royal credit card? And if it can, How? Thank you for the help.

Still the policy to give on board credit if you have 100 or more shares, but there are many restrictions:

On another note. Switch to a different rewards card. Among the worst value per redemption of all rewards cards.

You don't need to cancel it as this could affect credit score, but find a different card.

We have RCL stock, and it's been many years since we have been able to

use it, once they changed the rules about combining discounts it's been

unusable.

However its currently at $121.00 a share, we purchased it at $11.00 so that's

the upside.

Yeah, I wish I still had the 400 shares I sold at $40!

Purchased mine @19.5 so yep, I've made quite a nice chunk of change! Kind of nice that now they pay dividends with shares of stock instead of cash, so I'm now up to 110 (plus a smidge) shares. Too bad they don't give OBC for every multiple of 100. Hoping I'll be able to use my stock benefit for my cruise in 2019.

Actually, don't use this card anymore but I have points on it. I use an Mlife card for free play at casinos!

I'm still getting a cash dividend. What happens with the balance? The stock price and dividend wouldn't ever be the same price.

Be sure to watch those points. They fall off after a while. I used the card and thought I was building up points for five years. It turns out, I was losing points faster than I was earning them. I quit using the card.
