PoohUnderstands Posted September 22, 2017 #1 Share Posted September 22, 2017 This will be my first cruise where there is an initial overnight at embarkation port of Quebec City. My itinerary shows the date and says Overnight. Then the next day shows leaving at 5PM. Exactly what time can we board the ship on the first day? I mean can we board as early as possible and then go back out and wander around the city? Oh do we have to wait until later afternoon to first board? How does this exactly work? Thanks. Kamloops50 Posted September 22, 2017 #2 Share Posted September 22, 2017 The boarding time would be set by the cruise line. I would ask this on the roll call for specific and the specific cruise line.
sddsddean Posted September 22, 2017 #3 Share Posted September 22, 2017 Did it once on Celebrity Infinity in Buenos Aires. You boarded normal time (say from 11am), could do what you like for that day/night/day, then had to be aboard for muster drill at about 4pm before sailing (like normal). I imagine it would be this sort of timetable, as otherwise any extended port time due to the overnight stay is wasted in hanging around for muster drill etc. Simon

Pooh Hi Pooh, As we'll be coached to the ship at the end of the land tour, we'll board whenever the driver gets us there. I'm guessing around noon. Our luggage will be loaded directly onto the ship.
