Deck 7 on Jewel of the Seas

We are looking at booking a stateroom on Deck 7 of Jewel near the aft elevators. Looking at the deck plans, I noticed that the "smoking" casino is right down below near the aft elevators. Just want to know if the area up to the staterooms is cordoned off so the smoke won't draft up to that area. I can't tell by looking at the deck plans. It was terrible on Rhapsody where the casino was right next to Guest Relations, and the smoke drafted out into the GR area.

The best cabin with a big verandah was forward starboard 7540 which we had for the Caribbean in January

Taking another one near this one on the Serenade in April maybe we will meet again sometime

No, there is nothing to keep the smoke from drifting up through the centrum. I don't think it will be noticeable in your cabin but you might notice it in hallway a little.

You are quite unlikely to smell any smoke that far up...through the elevator/stairway FOYER. You'll be fine.
