San Juan Duty free shopping

I’m getting ready to sail to San Juan does anyone know if the big duty free shops are open in the terminal

not positive, but I think you need an airline ticket from another country to shop duty free. BTW the San Juan shops are not nearly as cheap as the other islands

There was construction going on but you had to walk through the shops to get to baggage claim. I was just there 2 weeks ago. Assuming, they are the shops you are talking about. We didnt buy anything either.

Are you referring to the airport terminal or the cruise terminal?
