3Blessings Posted March 5, 2016 #1 Share Posted March 5, 2016 Last time we were on Coco Cay the kids were were a little bored just doing the slide and blow ups in the water so we were going to do snorkeling in April. But was curious whether there is much to see and whether they will enjoy it. Would love to hear your experiences with snorkeling on Coco Cay. Thanks! Riff Sniff Posted March 5, 2016 #2 Share Posted March 5, 2016 We haven't been there for a couple years, but I remember a sunken plane, the bow of a wooden boat, and some cannons that you can snorkel over. All three of these sites are marked with a buoy in the water. The cannons are fairly close to the shore, but the boat and the plane are a little farther out. There are floating platforms where you can get out of the water and rest or catch some sun. Sent from my iPad using Forums mobile app

CouponMom Posted March 8, 2016 #4 Share Posted March 8, 2016 Is this something you can do without an excursion? I'm hoping that on CocoCay I can do something without spending a ton of money. We do have our own equipment.
3Blessings Posted March 8, 2016 Author #5 Share Posted March 8, 2016 People have posted that you are able to snorkel without doing an excursion, you may just have to rent a life jacket or something like that.

Sparetiming Posted August 8, 2018 #8 Share Posted August 8, 2018 Can anyone tell me where the best snorkeling is on the island? What direction do you head after you get off tender?
