Is there a internet package for purchase in the jade? I’m going on a 10 day cruise in march and would like to be blue to keep in contact with my boyfriend who will not be traveling with me. Thanks in advance!

All the ships have internet packages. And you can make phone calls from all ships.

The rates and packages not only change from time to time, but vary widely depending on the ship.

Since you are not sailing until March, I would wait until Jan or Feb to see what the current packages are at that point.

They really do change.

And when you check, keep in mind that internet, texting, phone calls via internet or via cellular are often quite different.

Yes. Last October I paid about $125 for a 250 minute package.

There's also a 100 minute package.

Or you can 'pay as you go" for 75 cents per minute.

There is also a $3.95 set-up fee, waived if you pre-book.

Be aware that internet is very slow. I only used it for email.

Yes. $29.99 x the number of cruise days

You must pay for the entire cruise, not day by day.

There might be an opportunity to buy it the second day, saving the first day's charge. But that seems to vary.

The Internet Manager will be happy to do this for you when he's on duty, but you can also purchase the unlimited package yourself over the ship's wifi. The price gets updated at midnight (that's when they subtract one day from the price), so you can start using the package right away instead of waiting for the Internet Café to open the next day.
