Hotel Reservations made way in advance

Just a heads up for any Brits/Europeans!! I made a reservation on booking.com last June for a hotel on Hollywood Beach for April 2018. On checking today (a) the hotel rate has gone down and (b) the exchange rate is different. I have cancelled the original booking and rebooked and saved myself $150. Very happy with that, so if any other non-US cruisers have similar bookings, do check them out.

Tingo.com has price drop refunds. But so does calls my a hotel and asking for price match.

This is sound advice for any hotel or car rental booking for people of any nationality. These things can change, and to your advantage. In our case, car rental rate checks have saved us 20-25% many times.

I shop hotel and rental car rates all the time. However, hotels seem to always go up the closer you get and cars seem to go down.
