welshrich Posted April 19, 2018 #1 Share Posted April 19, 2018 Hello We are on Ovation in May/June for a b2b2b/ We were notified yesterday via our TA that the June 1st cruise has been partially chartered so they are moving the departure point from Hong Kong to Shenzen. I'm curious to know what sort of charter is so lucrative that RC would change departure points for them, it means we have to leave the ship in Hong Kong and then get transferred in the evening to Shenzen as we are not allowed to remain on board. I've searched online but cannot spot anything.

Not sure it matters much - the more important issue is that it should be also be lucrative enough for you - time to negotiate OBC for yourself. They have offered a tour of Hong Kong and transportation to the new embarkation point, also, on another of the sector they had changed itinerary so gave some OBC for that. It would be nice if they would drop charging for Northstar and ifly as well.

Aussie FF Posted May 16, 2018 #5 Share Posted May 16, 2018 We were looking at doing B2B in June, and this has just made the decision for us. We are not going ahead.:(

It does depend on where the ship is leaving/heading for that one. When it works out of Australian waters/ports, these two are free, yet when in Asia, they charge for it.
