What is the best time to arrive at the port for boarding Pride of America?

Most crowded time is Noon to 1:30. Shuttle buses from hotels arrive near Noon. Cabins not ready until after 2 PM.

Suites generally start to board around 11:15 - 11:30. Then other groups like Latitude status levels, etc.

Actually, on our POA cruise we arrived around 11:30 as we normally would for any other cruise and found the port almost deserted. Because the POA doesn't leave until 7pm, it seems that people tend to board a lot later in the day. They spend the day doing Honolulu things.

We boarded and had the ship almost to ourselves for hours.

Same here. We arrived at 11:30 and pretty much just walked onto the ship. We were not in a suite. We then left the ship after lunch to walk to the Palace. When we got back around 2 pm, the terminal had really long lines. We by-passed the lines and walked right back on the ship!

Less than a mile. 20 minutes-ish.
