"Free" tea and coffee on QM2 and QV?

On QE2, you used to be able to walk from the Queen's Room into the Lido for a free drink of tea or coffee.

On QM2 and QV it is quite a treck from the Queen's Room to Kings Court (QM2) or the Lido (QV). Is there somewhere closer that I could get free drink?

Well I don't drink but I've always gotten free water at any bar onboard that I've asked for it....including in the Queen's Room. Not coffee or tea but it is a free beverage if that helps.

On QV, as far as I can remember, the only place free drinks are available is half way along the Lido. I'm afraid you'll just have to throw caution to the wind and spend £2..

I wish it was just the odd couple of pounds on my bill. Unfortunately, my bill resembles the telephone directory and has to be quickly dumped in the first bin before her indoors get a chanct to examin the detail. My wife is the only person on the ship that thinks Cunard don't send final bills.
