Stratheden Posted January 13, 2018 #4 Share Posted January 13, 2018 You can bring your bottled water as carry on only. We wrote our room number on our case of water and gave it to the porters along with our baggage and it was delivered to our cabin. This was in Civitavecchia. Krazy Kruizers Posted January 13, 2018 #5 Share Posted January 13, 2018 There haven't been wine cards in years. Any night is a good night to have dinner in the Pinnacle Grill.
Rare kazu Posted January 13, 2018 #6 Share Posted January 13, 2018 Thanks. So if I carry on a case of water and a bottle of wine is that ok? Yes it is. All drinks whether alcoholic/non alcoholic are supposed to be carried on. While there is no longer a wine card, you can purchase a beverage card if you like convenience. There is no discount with it but it does save on all of those little receipts.
joekerstef Posted January 13, 2018 #7 Share Posted January 13, 2018 We wrote our room number on our case of water and gave it to the porters along with our baggage and it was delivered to our cabin. This was in Civitavecchia. A very good reason that you are supposed to carry on all of your water/soda/wine is that if it breaks while in your luggage or packaged as you've described it, your beverages are going to get all over everyone else's suitcases, potentially making a whole lot of people unhappy and getting their cruise off to a crummy start. RMLincoln Posted January 13, 2018 #8 Share Posted January 13, 2018 You may carry on more than one bottle of wine but you will pay corkage fee $18 for each bottle above the one bottle per adult corkage-free limit. The corkage-free wine is to be drunk in your cabin... the corkage paid wine can be consumed anywhere on the ship just like wine you buy on board. The advantage of bringing your own wine is that you know you will like it, and it may be less costly to bring your own and pay corkage than to select from their wine lists.... For 3 star mariners and up there are wine package discounts, packages are 3, 5 or 7 bottles of their package selections. The discount is not available on individual bottle purchases, nor on wine by the glass. m--
