Carnival Satisfaction Survey

I just got back from a cruise and about to fill out the survey. I want to recognize a few crew for great service. Looking for recommendations.

1. What are some comments that will really help them. I don't want to overdo it. But want to make sure they are rewarded for their great service.

2. Say there are 2 people working together in a bar. Would it be wrong for me to comment more on 1 than the other? I don't want to hurt the other crew person.

3. Would it be bad for me to mention too many people? Say 6 or so? Or should I just select a couple of them?

4. I know they can view the comments received about them. Do they see what I write about other crew at the same time?

Thanks in advance for all your help!!

If you feel like you received great service from some of the crew on your trip, feel free to mention them by name and department in your survey. I do each time Carnival sends me a post-cruise survey. You are free to mention whomever made your experience better and as many people as you want. It's all at your own discretion. So glad that you had a great enough experience to want to recognize the crew!

Honestly, I mention everyone I can think of that I interact with in a positive way. I know it helps because, when I've done b2bs, people will tell me that they were informed of the positive feedback and sometimes it helps them earn time off.

They take the customer satisfaction surveys very seriously. For matter of fact when I was on the glory the whole casino staff was taken on an all expense paid excursion because of their positive reviews and staff being mentioned.

You were never limited to one or two staff members rather you want to mention anyone that made an impression as they get bonuses for this.

It is never wrong to mention a crew member by name. If there was a team of bartenders but one "wow'd" you, mention that one. I usually say something like, "As usual, the crew took amazing care of us. But WOW, xxxx went above and beyond. We would walk up to the bar and he/she would call out my name and a ready 'Hi!'" We've FB friended a couple of the crew members over the years, and they say those kinds of comments are truly appreciated.

Still waiting for the Horizon survey, we arrived Barcelona/NY on May 23 2018.

Anyone else also waiting??

My experiences

6/15/02 - got back 6/20, got paper survey 6/20

2/7/16 - got back 2/11, got survey 2/13

8/15/16 - got back 8/20, got survey 8/20

12/26/16 - got back 12/31, got survey 1/2/17

2/9/17 - got back 2/13, got survey 2/18

5/8/17 - got back 5/16, got survey 5/17

1/20/18 - got back 1/25, got survey 1/26

1/28/18 - got back 2/4, got survey 2/5

I called Carnival when the survey for my 2/9/17 sailing didn't show up the day after I got back. The rep said it could take up to 10 days for the survey to arrive. I can't remember if the rep said business days or just days.

Try calling Carnival to ask about the missing survey.
