Cabins on deck 9 Majesty of the Seas

In May 2018 the catergories on the ship are being changed. Deck 9 which is all superior ocean view rooms some of the cabins are changed to a different category which is a regular oceanview cabin. Is this possible? Can the cabins be made smaller? This is very confusing.

This has come up recently. They are not being made smaller.

They are giving some of the cabins category 2N which is 120 sq. feet

I see that, but suspect some sort of clerical error because the staterooms are not getting smaller.

Interesting observation. I wondered if it had something to do with the 'view'. I know deck 9 used to be all the SOV but in the pictures they're showing a different window style. (I also know their pictures aren't always true representation)

Deck 9 SOV was always my go-to when sailing the majesty.
