Epic Studio ?

Am I allowed to book me and my daughter (19) in one room and book my husband in a studio but let me daughter sleep in the studio? I know we can do stuff like this with 2 regular rooms but not sure if a studio room requires a certain card or wristband to get in and out. She wouldn’t have to use the lounge.

We did. We booked my husband in the studio and me and my 18 year old son in cabin then switched keys and cabins. We spoke o the HD who said it was ok

She’ll definitely need a studio cabin room key - the area has key-card controlled entry. I wouldn’t imagine it would be too difficult to have guest services update your key cards upon boarding. Enjoy Epic - my first sailing on her was in a studio and I loved it!

Is there any reason why you can't book the daughter in the studio - presumably due to perks?

You have to be 21 from what I’ve read to be booked in a studio.

Your plan will work fine. Once onboard, go to guest services and have additional keys made for the studio so that your daughter can get in.

No. you have to have at least one person 21 or older booked in every room.
