We are a family of 9 booked on the Escape.

For the 1st night we have booked a table at the Manhattan main dining room for 8 as that is the most it would let us book for.

That is 6 adults and two 8 YO we also have a 2YO with us and were wondering if it would be possible for us to have a high chair for the 2YO at the table. Any ideas?

In the MDR on most all ships there is a infinite number of ways that seating can be arranged

within the limits of the dining room.

That noted when you get on board - go to the MDR and talk with the hostess or Maitre D' and

make the arrangements that you require.

As for a child's high chair - should be no problem just add that to the seat arrangement request.

*** Since there are usually two MDRs on a ship of size - go to the one that is open and seek

out a solution - you also could go to the Dining Restaurant Reservations desk located somewhere

in the Atrium area of the ship and get help with the arrangements.

The earlier the arrangements are made the better - it is just not nice to just show up and then

make the seating arrangements unannounced. The first night can be a hectic mess - give NCL

the opportunity to make it work for you.

Thanks for this, we were able to book an 8 seat table (Max) Just hoping we can fit a high chair in with it. I'll go the the MDR and ask when I get on.

We had the same problem. We needed to reserve for 9, but the highest amount was 8. Since we are traveling with our daughter and her family, we each booked separately for the size we need. But since then, our NCL cruise consultant said HE can reserve a table for the exact amount we need.
