Tarheelbelle Posted December 28, 2007 #2 Share Posted December 28, 2007 Why not use a slower film? My reading has lead me to believe that using iso 100 or 200 at most is best. I am taking 200, but most of my serious photos will be with my 2 digital cameras.

Rare Keith1010 Posted December 29, 2007 #4 Share Posted December 29, 2007 You may also want to take a digital camera with you. That way you can get a feel right away how your pictures are coming out. Keith
2552phxcrzr Posted December 29, 2007 #5 Share Posted December 29, 2007 ASA 100 or 200; cannot help with f stops and such, but I know I added exposure (counter intuitive) in some cases and bracketed my photos (1/3 stop). If you search a website like pbase for Antarctica photos you can look at EXIF information attached to photos and see if that helps.
roberts2005 Posted December 30, 2007 #6 Share Posted December 30, 2007 One suggestion. If you are taking candid shots of people try to force your flash.
