New Year's Eve, 2017/8, Cozumel

Looks like Mr Sancho's and Nachi Cocum will closed because it falls on a Sunday.

Does this ripple thru' to the rest of the town ? Is Sunday closure a law perhaps?

Will shops & restaurants be open 12/31 ?

Paradise beach is generally open on a Sunday, claims to open 365 days a year.

Use the search engine for several “Sunday” postings.

Guess I should've done that, was in a hurry.

Lots of others likely have similars question tho', about 14,503 of them plus me :)

Yes it gets asked often although ships only stop occasionally on a Sunday.

Of course New Years Eve my be different again, I have only been there on a regular Sunday.

Pancho's Backyard will be open- I emailed and asked.

Last year (2016) both Christmas Day and News Years Day fell on a Sunday and we had ships in town both days. When there are ships in town, usually everything is open. :)

Right now, the schedule on crew-center.com shows only 1 ship in town for the Sunday before Christmas Day 2017.

And 4 ships in town on the Monday which is Christmas Day. Cozumel is a very religious island but I assume things will still be open too.
