doones2 Posted July 28, 2016 #1 Share Posted July 28, 2016 I recently put on a bunch of obc to my account. They are from my rccl credit card. My question is when will I see the credits applied to my account? The credits have been deducted from our credit card. I have a feeling it won't be till we get on the cruise. You won't see the OBC on Royal's website, but you should be able to see it on Royal's Guest Copy of your booking confirmation. Request that from whoever booked your cruise. Once you are onboard, the OBC should show up on your onboard account on day 2 or 3.
saintsfan777 Posted July 28, 2016 #3 Share Posted July 28, 2016 I redeemed points for OBC a couple of weeks ago and my TA was able to see it yesterday.
pippersmom Posted July 28, 2016 #4 Share Posted July 28, 2016 I am fairly new to all this. What is the advantage of putting money to your OBC from your credit card?

The posters are redeeming credit card points from their Royal Visa card for OBC: http://www.royalcaribbean.com/dealsandmore/offer/visa.do
TravelerThom Posted July 28, 2016 #6 Share Posted July 28, 2016 ...Once you are onboard, the OBC should show up on your onboard account on day 2 or 3. Note that although the OBC will not post for a day or so, it is usable from the moment you step on the ship to buy tours, drinks etc. If you purchase tours etc online prior to sailing, those can NOT be paid with OBC. cruisenfever Posted July 28, 2016 #7 Share Posted July 28, 2016 Just to add that OBC from Visa Points is totally refundable and any unused portion can be redeemed for cash at Guest Services the day prior to debarkation.
setsail Posted July 28, 2016 #8 Share Posted July 28, 2016 (edited) I recently put on a bunch of obc to my account. They are from my rccl credit card. My question is when will I see the credits applied to my account? The credits have been deducted from our credit card. I have a feeling it won't be till we get on the cruise. If you have done this before your cruise docs are issued then it will show up there before you cruise. There is a page in the cd's that shows obc that will be applied to your account Edited July 28, 2016 by setsail

I do the same thing. I make a copy of the receipt. I will be using $2000 of OBC on the harmony TA for drink packages and gratuities. Gotta love the RCCL card!!
