SOO....coming up we will be cruising aboard the Oasis... Gotta get back to Orlando/airport so thinking about a post-cruise excursion/transfer. Looks like the two offered by Royal are the "Kennedy Space Center VIP Tour" with airport drop-off(6 hours) AND "The Real Florida Airboat Adventure" with airport transfer(3 hours). BTW Flight departs at 4:59PM.

Anyone been on either of theses? Which would you pick? OR.....other suggestions??

THANKS!

We didn't do it as a post cruise excursion, but on a port stop in PC, but we enjoyed the Kennedy Space Center. The only thing is our tour was closer to 8 hours and we still didn't get to do everything so you'll have plenty to fill 6 hours. Also, I'd say it depends on what your interests are. Two very different excursions.

Also, unless you rent a car anything you'd do independent of an excursion, you'll have luggage to deal with.

We did the Kennedy Space Center excursion a few years ago and enjoyed it very much.

I would pick whichever one gets me to the airport by 2 or so....

A rental car would give your flexibility as to what you want to do (and store your luggage in the trunk)....but you still need to get there early enough to drop the car, check in, and go thru security.

The downside is that these post-cruise excursions usually require a minimum number of participants to go. For our August cruise on Enchantment, we bought the airboat adventure only to be informed during the cruise that it would not be offered since too few participants had signed up. So there went our excursion as well as our transport to the airport. A quick visit to an internet café in Nassau allowed is to rent a car at Port Canaveral and book our own tour with Midway Airboat tours. Rental and tour price was similar to RCI excursion costs. Just another option for you to consider.

Thanks! That's a good idea!

So maybe best to just rent a car... Thanks!
