Boarding time - on this site vs express pass different answers?

Sounds like something you might want to discuss with Celebrity. Your express may say 60 minutes, but the Celebrity website states 90 minutes. Unless you have a really good reason to delay embarkation, why not just arrive 90 minutes out and not worry?

WHEN CAN I BOARD THE SHIP?

Boarding time varies by itinerary, deck and stateroom number. You will find the boarding time for your cruise in your cruise ticket booklet. Make sure you arrive in plenty of time so that you can be onboard at least 90 minutes before we sail or we may have to treat your non-arrival as a cancellation. For reasons of security, visitors or guests cannot be brought onboard the ship

We check in around 11:30 so have never paid much attention to the express pass. Looking back, it has been 60 minutes when boarding in Ft. Lauderdale but 90 minutes boarding in Seward Alaska. I agree, why would you want to wait until the last minute unless you plan to fly in late on boarding day, which is not recommended?
