Port or Starboard room for best views?

It's our first Med cruise and we aren't familiar with the ports

Done the Western Meds on the Emerald, not Crown. Always chosen the starboard side just for having been used to it. Knew some booked on port side but none discussed where either side made a significant difference on the cruise.

So what’s the answer? I got it Heads it’s Starboard. Tails it’s Port. :rolleyes: :)

I would say there is no way to know in advance. Depends on the port and whether the ship is backed in or not.

IMHO Venice is the only important port, assuming it is on your itinerary. Depending on itinerary, I would prefer Starboard for sail-in and Port for Sail-away.

In most other instances you are too far from land to make a difference.
