Croisi Europe - excursions

Three friends and I are doing the Douro River cruise in April aboard Croisi. From reading reviews - and the fact that the info from our TA says "cruise only" - I get the impression the land excursions are extra cost. Do we sign up and pay for them once we get on board? There seems to be a CLASSIC and DISCOVERY package. Any feedback on tours? How do we find the cost?

Hi there,

Excursions are included in the cost of your cruise, if you have booked in the North American Market only, In other markets, excursions are a-la-carte, and can be pre booked or picked on board.

There are two packages, for two types of tours:

Classic Excursions are the must-see destinations in each port. These are often panoramic city tours, walking tours, or museum visits.

Discover Excursions are the alternative - often active or off beat, these may include hiking, cycling, helicopter rides, or climbs to the top of a Cathedral. Great for the adventuresome and those who have already visited the Classic stops.

Is it possible to mix and match, and pick some Classic and some Discover?
