lynnek Posted January 17, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 17, 2018 we are on Azura next week and wondering if we booked a future cruise later this year can we expect any perks?
tartanexile81 Posted January 17, 2018 #2 Share Posted January 17, 2018 we are on Azura next week and wondering if we booked a future cruise later this year can we expect any perks? The deposit is very low and they may have a promotion on specific cruises. You also get extra OBC. And remember you can transfer it back to your TA in the UK and get an extra discount

Thanks for the info

beachmad123 Posted January 19, 2018 #6 Share Posted January 19, 2018 Hi on the same thread is there any additional incentive to book on board compared to the internet price?
beachmad123 Posted January 19, 2018 #7 Share Posted January 19, 2018 (edited) Is there really any extra incentive to book another cruise onboard in comparison to the internet price low deposits don't particularly interest me but extra on board credit does ? Edited January 19, 2018 by beachmad123 Spelling mistake
Mr Blue Sky Posted January 19, 2018 #8 Share Posted January 19, 2018 We have booked two Caribbean cruises on board the past two years and the extra OBC 350 each was excellent for a 14 night cruise.
beachmad123 Posted January 19, 2018 #9 Share Posted January 19, 2018 Thanks for the information is extra on board credit given on all cruises I'm looking at a 12 night one in December
jenny wren Posted January 20, 2018 #10 Share Posted January 20, 2018 The amount of OBC varies.....we booked a 35 night cruise inside cabin and got just £100 pp OBC....but still low deposit of £50 pp
BrianI Posted January 20, 2018 #11 Share Posted January 20, 2018 The amount of OBC received depends on the duration of the cruise booked and varies from £25 to £100 per person. The amounts are shown here https://ask.pocruises.com/help/PO/before-you-sail/onboard_sales Any booking made on board is automatically transferred to the TA you booked your cruise with Brian
majortom10 Posted January 20, 2018 #12 Share Posted January 20, 2018 Any extra OBC you would get over and above what Brianl states in his link you would get if you booked onboard or at home with a TA.
callyuk Posted January 20, 2018 #13 Share Posted January 20, 2018 Interesting to see that link, but it must vary according to offers at the time. We were on Oriana this Christmas and booked whilst onboard for the next, a 16 night cruise. We received £180 pp onboard credit plus car parking, we could have opted for £250 pp instead. The booking was transferred to our TA, we had no choice in that.
Prefdavid Posted January 20, 2018 #14 Share Posted January 20, 2018 The booking doesn't have to be transferred to the same TA. You can book direct with P&O or you can have the booking marked for transfer to another TA but you need to have their ABTA number for this to happen. I comment from personal experience as we did exactly this on our last cruise.

The link never varies because that is agreed by Carnival plc by the board at the AGM any extra was a general offer which is nothing to do with booking onboard likewise with car parking.
