My carnival profile says I have "7 VIFP Points until PLATINUM" So does that mean on my next 7-day cruise I will be platinum status?

I know you that if you are earning your next status on a cruise you get the benefits from the beginning. I am just not sure if I will earn it one this way because it's 7 and 7.

You get the benefits from day 1 even though you haven't officially turned Platinum until day 7 (last day) of your cruise.

Your boarding documents will already say priority.

It is called a cross over cruise. When during the cruise you have enough cruise days to move you up to the next level. Search on Cruise Critic "carnival cross over cruise" and you will find a lot of information on this
