We will be sailing on the Mariner 4 night in November, but not stopping in Phuket. We are also doing a 4 night land stay in Phuket. After extensive research, The Mariner tenders for the Phuket stops into Patong beach area.

We will be staying in this area. Hopefully, this will help you out.

When we were there last week we tendered to the deep sea terminal.

We were told that when we go back next month we will be on the Patong side.

I will report back and let you know if that happens.

Cheers

Aussie Frequent Floaters.

thanks! Do keep me posted!! :)

On the same topic, how long does it typically take to tender at Phuket? We've booked a second cruise on MOTS with a similar itinerary to our first cruise a few years ago, and and we found it took up most of the day waiting to get to shore. Not sure if that is typical or if things were just unusually bad when we were there. We didn't go on a ships excursion last time, and trying to decide if we should do this time so we get to shore more quickly.

If you go on ship excursion you be the first off the ship. If your ship anchor off deep sea port you get to shore far away from anything. If Paton Beach you land in the middle of town.
