wwcruisers Posted June 25, 2018 #3 Share Posted June 25, 2018 Welcome, Host Joe! :D As you can see, the Virgin Board is NOT the liveliest place, right now. But, we are hoping that will change, once Virgin Voyages starts announcing more details about their new ship (including itineraries, dates, pricing, and cabin categories)! Tarwood3 Posted July 20, 2018 #6 Share Posted July 20, 2018 So I was just on virgin’s website looking at the press release today for the naming of the ship. In there they said they are getting ready for the “jumboization” of the ship?? They are adding a huge section. Does this mean they have decided to make the ship larger than originally planned ? Not exactly. The aft section of the ship (the section that has the diesel engines) was constructed at a shipyard in Romania. It is on a barge en route to the shipyard in Italy, where it will be joined together with the current section.
