jshli Posted April 29, 2017 #1 Share Posted April 29, 2017 We are considering a Austrailia/New Zealand cruise on the Sun Princess. We usually cruise on Celebrity with Select dining which works well for us since we make reservations months in advance and never have to wait for a table for 2. Given these preferences and that we prefer to eat between 8:00 and 8:15, would we be better off requesting anytime dining or tradional dining (7:45 seating)? CruiserBruce Posted April 29, 2017 #2 Share Posted April 29, 2017 As Anytime Dining just started on Sun this week, it may be difficult to answer your question.

Can't say what the best choice for you would be, but if you only want a table for two, that may be a problem. On our last Sun Princess cruise (Feb 2017) there was 200 couples wanting tables for 2 with only a handful of 2 seaters available at each sitting. There are lots of larger tables on this ship. If you are happy to share with others, select either. At least with traditional dining you have the same wait staff every night. You can certainly request a table for 2, you might just get lucky. Eskavite Posted May 1, 2017 #4 Share Posted May 1, 2017 My husband and I prefer Traditional Dining in MDR. We like to sit at a table for two and also like to eat early, 6pm. Same table every night and same waiters.
