Silent discos on Explorer

Silent discos, surely an oxymoron?

no folks, they have silent discos on Explorer :confused:

apparently some of the indigo discos are silent. they have 2 DJ's broadcasting 2 eras of disco music through headphones at the same time and you select the one you like. some people sing along but apart from that there is no pounding music in the adjacent casino etc

Weird idea but if it works they can cater for a wide range of tastes at the same time :eek:

I like it, I can get lubricated with my rum while listening to music form decades ago and not this modern head banging rubbish ;p

They are great to watch as well. People dancing away but no music can be heard.

Silent discos are popular on Celebrity Cruises...you tune you headphones to the music/station you prefer that the DJ plays. Good to watch the dancing too!
