Amy G Posted January 11, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 11, 2018 I am trying to figure out the best time for a balcony dinner, and I was wondering if anyone is recently off this cruise can help. I want to see the menus for each night for me to decide the best night to do UBD. Can anyone help? Thanks! :)

newtotheloveboat Posted January 21, 2018 #3 Share Posted January 21, 2018 Will you please let us know which nights are the formal nights on the western cruise?
Wishing on a star Posted January 21, 2018 #4 Share Posted January 21, 2018 You might not know until you sail. I think it can be arbitrary.... I believe that I have seen Patters that show Formal Nights are the first sea day, and then Cozumel. They would probably not have the formal night on the last sea day, because it is also the last night of the cruise... and passengers would want to begin packing and getting ready to disembark first thing the next morning. The first sea day is a given, unless it's the 12/30 voyage when New Year's Eve is on the Princess Cays date and that might be the choice there. Regarding the second date, Cozumel tends to be a very late departure so it could be the first sea day after that or, as I have seen the current voyage, they made it on the Grand Cayman date which means there are formal nights with only one day in between and that was Jamaica. Wishing on a star Posted January 21, 2018 #6 Share Posted January 21, 2018 Thanks, good info that they sometimes switch between Cozumel and Grand Cayman. Grand Cayman has an early departure, and Cozumel has an extended stay with a very late departure. GC makes sense.
