Melia Nassau day pass

Has anyone used the Melia resort in Nassau? We sent an email to them and they said you have to go to the resort to get a pass. I have seen 2 different prices.....$35 and $45. The resort looks nice. I would appreciate any feed back.

I did it in late August and paid $35 for the day pass.

It was nice and I took a bus there from downtown (about 15-20 minute ride). I'm not a huge fan of the Nassau port stop but I'd go back to this place if I go to Nassau again. It was relaxing with a nice beach area, a few pools, and hotels shops / dining.

You can get on the #10 Jitney bus, it will take you there for $1.25 per person one way. Just tell the driver where you want to go. He will let you know when you are there. We haven't done the Melia yet, but we have done all of the rest, I think.

I understand that there is no food/drink in the day pass option. Is food/drink readily available at the resort? What were the prices like?

Just like many things in Nassau. Stay on the ship, enjoy the included food, extra space from the newbies in port and your drinks package if you have one.[emoji6]
