Manhattan Room on Breakaway

Wondering if there is "big band" music in this dining room for dancing... Noticed a large dance floor with tables all around for dining...thanks!

I'm not sure I'd call it "Big Band" music, however this is a band with a singer. We timed it just right and also got a performance by the Burn the Floor dancers, which was a lot of fun!

Around 7pm each night a band comes on to play and people can dance.

Don't know about the Breakaway, but know the Epic does have the band and dance floor. we are so excited about cruising on a mega ship.We leave Nov. 12th. Our daughter assured us we will love the Manhattan room. She ate there with hubby on either the Breakaway or the Getaway. For us, the funny thing, we had always said, we would not do the mega ship.

Check your freestyle dailies for times where music and Burn the Floor performances are in the Manhattan Room. Dancing optional,,,, but not uncommon.

On the two nights we went last week, they played ballroom dance music and American songbook (standards). There was a female singer with the band.

Thanks for letting me know! Guess we'll have to try to stay up late for the late-night dancing!

The bands were done by 9:30 PM. When we finished dinner there were chairs by the stage, as there was usually a line for tables.
