anywhere to buy tortuga rum in Key west, freeport or nassau?

I'm almost out of my coffee liqueur and I MUST get more and then some.

There's a Tortugua Rum Cake shop in Atlantis and in downtown Nassau.

downtown Nassau..the one we went to even had rum cake to sample...YUM!

There is a tortuga Rum store within walking distance of the ship in Nassau. When you get off the ship just ask someone. Its right up the street not far at all.

I bought some in Key West and was going to the port next where she said it was made, Caymans? anyway, she said if you buy it there its fresher made, but other wise it really doesnt matter.

I bought some and the coffee in Key West. so thats my vote.

PS yes its walking distance and yes they had free samples out.

I don't understand why your local liquor store can't just order it for you?

Rum doesn't go bad and as for the cakes, they have a shelf life of like 1000 years - longer if you freeze them. :D

I know the rum isn't distilled in the Caymans.

My understanding is Tortuga Rum can be bought in Georgetown, Grand Cayman, but is distilled in Jamaica. The Tortuga Rum Cake can be found most anywhere in the Caribbean.
