Any Norwegian Sky ship cell service in Havana?

Since we cannot use our US cell phones in Cuba, does the Norwegian Sky leave its Cell At Sea cellular tower operating while the ship is docked in Havana? (I know usually they turn it off while in port.)

Hoping someone just off the Sky will have the answer.

The premise is incorrect. You can use your cellphone in Cuba, if you've enabled international service with your carrier.

Does NCL offer a wifi package?

If so, you can switch your phone to wifi calling and communicate that way. The ship wifi should be on while in port.

I did, successfully, last year while on an RCCL ship.

Sprint has access, albeit at $2.99/minute. Texts are 50¢

Just off the Sky. We turned off cell data for the duration. You can use ship wifi to make calls via google hangouts or other wifi based phone service. Wifi was available at all times on the ship. I had 100 minutes "free at sea" and used that $75 credit to upgrade to unlimited wifi for the duration of the cruise (though it expired by the morning of disembarkation). I think the unlimited price was around $120 (so only $45 with the credit).
