carlsbadguy Posted February 18, 2018 #1 Share Posted February 18, 2018 Booked Celebrity Solstice RT Seattle for this summer but now thinking maybe better to do a Vancouver Round Trip or possibly one way. I was wondering during the Seattle cruise on the way to Victoria how much of time do you actually spend cruising the inside passage? The detailed itinerary I got from travel agent shows cruising Inside Passage 6:30-10:30 PM on the night leaving Skagway and other times just cruising. xlxo Posted February 18, 2018 #2 Share Posted February 18, 2018 fyi..... there are TWO inside passages. The Alaskan North and the Canadian South. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inside_Passage If you want to see the Southern passage... you need to have Vancouver as a port. Budget Queen Posted February 20, 2018 #4 Share Posted February 20, 2018 With most Seattle sailing, a great deal of the first and last sailing days are open ocean. Also have the roughest potential. All the major cruise lines have opted for more- "open" sailing, compared to several years ago. I think is far more important to determine the whole choice. Many factors are going to go into a selection.
