De Librije menu on Koningsdam

Really wanted to try DeLibrije last time we were on the Koningsdam and even made a reservation based on the on-line menu where it shows a beef entree (my wife does not eat seafood). Got onboard and the menu shows only seafood so had to cancel. Anybody been to DeLibrije on the Koningsdam recently to know if the menu has one non-seafood entree?

It is not crazy at all ... It is a very special "set" menu done once a cruise only in the Pinnacle Grill. If you like the menu, you go. If you do not like the menu, you dine elsewhere. The menu does change, although very little, once in a while but fish and seafood always remain a major part as the menu is inspired by De Librije of the Netherlands.

When we did De Librjie on the Rotterdam several years ago, they offered only beef cheeks for their beef entree. Don't know about you, but any form of meat "cheeks" (pork, lamb etc) are now officially on my do not try list. Can not get past the mooshy texture of beef cheeks.

Halibut cheeks are the best and should not be avoided. Ask any chef and they will tell you that it is the most tender and the absolutely best part of the fish.
