firsttimecruiser9876 Posted May 4, 2018 #1 Share Posted May 4, 2018 What can I expect from a Carnival Elation cruise in July to Bahamas? Lots of kids? Typical weather? How’s the ship ride?

grandmarnnurse Posted May 4, 2018 #6 Share Posted May 4, 2018 Hope for good weather. It’s just before hurricane season starts. I’m always a little bit afraid of chancing a summer cruise. And, yes, it will be full of kids. If you have kids, not so bad. If not, it may not be so pleasant. Not to mention shorter cruises tend to be booze cruises. There may be more of a party atmosphere. If this is ok with you, than go for it. Sent from my iPad using Forums
NCbmwmom Posted May 5, 2018 #7 Share Posted May 5, 2018 I’ve been on mostly 5 day cruises in April, and never once ran into a “booze cruise” except for excursion booze cruises. Where do I find out about these? Well there was our first cruise on RCI that was punctuated by a super drunk college dude who thought he was hilarious, but other than that, The vibe has been the same on 5 days and 7 days. ;)
