Jewel - Laundry Service 2018 question.

On southbound 7 night Alaska in Sept. keen to find out if they do the discounted midweek laundry service, and if so does anyone have the cost, day of pick up and drop off of clothing?

Trying to plan ahead for packing :)

We have done cruises with Ncl via the states and the midweek service was offered, but in European cruises it wasn’t.

$19.95 "Fill The Bag" sometime mid week. Takes at least two to three days for clothes to be returned.

I don't think I've ever had it take more than one day for the clothes to be returned. Typically they will leave the bag on the 4th day....stuff as much as you can in there, and they will pick it up and return it the next day. We may have had it go two days once.

Tip: line the paper bag with a pillow case and roll tight....

We had our clothes back some day!

Insider tip, the laundry is dropped off and picked up at the laundry room by your room steward. If your bag isn't back within about one day the steward hasn't retrieved it even though it is ready for pick up. Prodding the room steward should get your laundry back quickly after the one day mark.

The bundled laundry service (fill a bag) is offered on Day 4. It is a two day service. Returning on the night of Day 6. Don’t be bugging your room steward if it is not back on the same day or next day.

You can always pay by the piece for next day or same day service.

Absolutely question your room steward if your laundry is not back in a day or so. Most likely he/she has forgotten to check on it or is just being lazy. No reason to wait for your laundry.
