Lol, I love the statement by MSC: "While maneuvering alongside, for reasons that are currently still being duly investigated, the ship deviated from her course and grazed the end of the pier."

That's what they call a "graze?!" Looks like it completely took out the end of the pier to me.

As an avid boater for most of my life, I am reminded of the sage advice I once received from my father-in-law pertaining to the docking of a boat...

"Approach the dock at the speed in which you intend to strike it." :')

In other words, do it slowly!
