Is it safe to assume Carnival no longer gives past guest free lanyards?

We bring our own but they give them out in the casino. My sister gets one every cruise. When did things change?

GS doesn't anymore, but the casino has them available for anyone who asks.

yes, you can get one from the casino but not until the casino opens which is likely not until international waters

We got them as "rewards" once. I have an ocean Christmas tree in my office with ocean themed ornaments, blingy seaweed, ship ornaments from our cruises, wallet sized pictures from our cruises, and lanyards holding cruise cards. Only have one Carnival lanyard on there.

November 2016, there were big plexiglas tubs of them outside the casino on the Ecstasy. Planning to get some pretty, necklace-inspired ones for myself and my MIL for our October 2019 cruise, though.
