Wayfairers Posted February 7, 2018 #2 Share Posted February 7, 2018 Sounds like it is time to plan another cruise Sent from my iPhone using Forums
digitl Posted February 12, 2018 #3 Share Posted February 12, 2018 On Fram! These, in my opinion, are simply too big for an 'intimate' polar trip bearing in mind that only 100 are allowed to be on land at any one time. In some locations, even fewer. And 50% with balcony? Most of the time it's preferable to be outside on deck when not ashore. Whales don't always appear on 'your' side of the ship!
Rare GeezerCouple Posted February 12, 2018 #4 Share Posted February 12, 2018 It looks like they'll have some cruises that are not Antarctica, in other seasons. That sounds appealing :) GC

jakkojakko Posted June 29, 2018 #7 Share Posted June 29, 2018 Always good to be evironmently friendly, but in my opinion way too large for expedition cruising. It would take forever to let everybody have a chance of going ashore. For one landing it is then 1 1/2 to 2 hrs ashore and the rest of the day waiting on the ship. Better to have 100 passenger ships with multiple landings per day.
