A little help please....first time in Nassau

This will be my first trip to Nassau and I am a bit confused about the layout. We don't want to do an excursion or a day pass. I do however want to spend some time at a beach and maybe the straw market. I also have to hit Senor Frogs because that's what I do. Is all of this within walking distance of the port ? Thanks for any help.:cool:

They are walkable. Once you get off the ship and go through the welcome center, go out the back side, through the excursion sellers/vans to Woods Rogers St. and turn right. Straw Market is a couple of blocks, Senor Frogs just a tad farther, then on the other side of the Hilton is Junkanoo Beach.

Thanks for the info. How did you like the breeze ? We will be taking her on Sept. 22nd! Very excited after taking a three year cruise from cruising.
