Teens Traveling Alone

Recommended Posts

There are 5 of us. 21, 20, 18, 17, and 17. Is there any cruise line that will let us cruise alone or any way around the rule so we can cruise alone? Any help would be beneficial. Thank you.

Not the 17 year olds. You will have to wait til they turn 18. Check out Princess or Norweign.

Carnival and Royal all people must be 21 or have one person in each cabin to be 25,

Or find a group where a person is willing to take on the resposibilty of your group.

Hi Smokie, tell what ship you are going on and when. This is so I do not book it. This sounds like a party about to happen with possible under age drinking involved, not that anyone would do it intentionally or that you will cause problems but mobs rules.

Nice attitude, CaptData.

Our children are our future, and there are just as many bad eggs among old adults as there are among young adults.

I hope you get a cabin next to some folks a little hard of hearing who keep the TV turned to 11, but no kids on board.

Disney and Princess will allow anyone 18 and older to cruise alone but definitely not the 17 year olds. And there's NO way to get around it. You will all have to present a valid birth certificate upon embarkation, which will have the legal date of birth. The BC has to have a raised seal from the county or state, and that's something you cannot forge or fake. And if you are under age 21, there are some cruise lines that have 21 as the legal drinking age. They will have your sign and sail card marked so you cannot purchase liquor.
