List of abbreviations

For us dummy newcomers: Is there a list of abbreviations used anywhere on

these forums? While you old timers know what you are talking about it is

frustrating trying to understand what is being said when initials are used

unless one knows their meaning! For example CB referring to a ship - what ship? Room categories, etc. Most I have figured out after reading hundreds of posts but a list would be helpful!:confused::)

Here is a thread that has posts about a lot of different abbreviations used on the boards including the ship's abbreviations:

The stateroom categories you see people writing about come from the Princess site in the deck plans area. Click on a particular deck, say Caribe, and down below the map there are the category lists of which rooms are on that floor. (CB -for example has interior KK and J, balcony BB and BA, and suite PS on Caribe)

 

Generally, mini suites start with the letter A and the second letter is A-E. Balconies start with the letter B with the second letter A-G. And so on.

* NP - Golden Princess

* AP - Grand Princess
