Is there space to slide a regular size suitcase or are the beds low? We will be travelling with a lot of bags (long story) and hope to be able to slide them under the bed rather than stacked up in already cramped quarters.

I have always been able to store cases under the bed, but if you cannot, then just ask cabin steward to take them

Yes there is enough room under the bed for the standard size suitcases. I prefer to keep ours at one end of the closet area and still had enough room.

Lots of room under the beds. We have had 6 suitcases between us and we stack inside each other and have never had an issue. However, if your suitcase is very deep and hard sided, it may not fit in which case the cabin steward will be happy to store it for you.

In which case if you have it open instead of closed it will usually fit.

One little problem that we encountered on our last cruise was the ladder for the upper bunks, under one of the beds.

If you ask the cabin steward, he will remove it from under the bed so you can put your suitcases under there.

 

We always keep one suitcase in the closet and keep the upper section unzipped. We use it as a dirty clothes hamper. When it gets full, we switch it out with one of the other bags under the bed. ;)

We always pack a large garbage bag for dirty clothes, which we pack as one piece, with breakables packed inside.

Never a problem, all suit cases fit under the beds. If anything is under the bed, just tell your room steward and He will move it.You will also have a nice large closet opposite your bathroom which is wall to wall and you can fit so much in it.

We have never had a problem stowing up to 5 suitcases under the bed. You will sometimes find the steward has stored the duvet for the other bed configuration under the bed but he/she will remove them if it impacts your need to stow suitcases or whatever.
