What time zone do ships out of Miami stay on?

We are crusing with our 3 kids, 9,5, & 2 they are used to eating dinner around 7 mountain time. I am thinking then late dining would be the best if we are on an eastern zone. Thoughts or answers?

It depends on a couple of factors - where you are sailing, and then your captain.

 

In our experience, ship time stayed on ET (Miami time).

 

However, it is up to the captain to switch to local time while in port.

I don't think it matters which seating you choose. Your kids will adapt to whatever time it is.

You will quickly get into the "flow" of time on the ship. The ship doesn't always change times on every sailing.

After a day, you'll be on the ship's time, so you should pick the time closest to when you normally eat. If your kids are in the AO program, early (main) dining is suggested, since the evening activities are scheduled around that seating.
