alawman Posted April 23, 2010 #26 Share Posted April 23, 2010 We are meeting friends in Nynashamn who asked which port we are being tendered into since there are several Ferry docks, etc. We called NCL and they confirm that we are anchoring in Nynashamn to be tendered in but when they give me the name of the port, they name the one in Frihamen in Stockholm. Which means they are reading last years port information and this years anchoring info. Can anyone direct me to where I can find out which port we tender into in Nynashamn? I have called NCL 2 times now and they keep giving me the same report. Thanks.
Ultima Thule Posted April 23, 2010 #27 Share Posted April 23, 2010 http://www.stockholmshamn.se/ Select "In English" - "Our ports" - "The port of Nynäshamn" - "Vessel Calls" and select "Expected Cruise Vessels" from the alternatives in the middle and click on "View" to get the list. Its "ANKRING PÅ REDDEN" in all cases and that will mean tendering.
north-bound Posted April 24, 2010 #28 Share Posted April 24, 2010 Nynäshamn is a small place, where cruise ships anchor is Nynäshamn port and nothing else. Frihamnen port is in Stockholm and that is not where NCL will dock this year.
Cruise NH Posted April 24, 2010 #29 Share Posted April 24, 2010 You'll also have to remember that since this is a tender port, those on NCL shore excursions will have 'first off the boat' privledges. YOu may have to wait awhile to get off...and then you have to get to the train or other transport...
