Late Arrival MIA and Need a Liquor Store

Recommended Posts

Our flight does not get into MIA until 11:00 pm Saturday night. I would rather not fly with liquor. Is there a liquor store nearby or a duty free in the airport that I can purchase some liquor before we get on the ship Sunday morning? I know Forida liquor stores wil not be open Sunday morning.

There are a couple liquor stores in walking distance of your hotel. However, persoanlly I wouldn't do that late at night, even if they are open later. I believe that the liquor stores open at noon on Sundays, but depending on what you need, you might be able to use the CVS store.

I would do this...

Call the hotel or wait till you check in to get the location and hours of the liquor stores in the area. You caould call from the hotel desk if they are unsure.

You'll need a cab to the pier, so you can always have him wait while you shop on the way.

You could google your hotel and find all the liquor stores within blocks and get the hours. I see Total Wine and Liquor opens at noon. You could easily stop there before boarding.
