beachchick24 Posted December 29, 2009 #1 Share Posted December 29, 2009 We are travelling on the Carnival Freedom , and I am wondering if there are any blenders available to use to make a fruit smoothie for breakfast? If so, are they self-serve, or does an employee prepare it for you? Thanks ! :p
nobody000 Posted December 29, 2009 #2 Share Posted December 29, 2009 They do not have any self service blendors or anything..the only thing you could do in my mind would be virgin drinks at the bar..I know thats not what you might consider a healthy fruit smoothie but to my memory that would be about the closest thing. Hope others will chime in with another way, I could be so wrong. :D
Rare patrice1 Posted December 29, 2009 #3 Share Posted December 29, 2009 You may want to bring a "Magic Bullet" for your cabin if you like breakfast smoothies. You can order all that you'll need for it from room service. Just don't forget to tip.:)
RizzoLee Posted December 29, 2009 #4 Share Posted December 29, 2009 Not sure about Freedom, but the Legend had a smoothie station in the mid ship, Lido deck at one of the bars. I think they were about $4 or $5, I never tried one, but noticed it there.
beachchick24 Posted December 29, 2009 Author #5 Share Posted December 29, 2009 Thanks for the input. We just donated our magic bullet to charity a couple months ago because we never used it.. darn !! We're not looking to pay extra for blending fruit together, so I guess we'll just eat the fruit whole ! If anyone else knows of a suggestion, I'd be all ears ! :p
firefly333 Posted December 29, 2009 #6 Share Posted December 29, 2009 I cant imagine the mess of doing my own blended fruit smoothies in the cabin. Banana peels in the trash smell.

Dr. Jack Daniels Posted December 30, 2009 #11 Share Posted December 30, 2009 I thought there was a station on the Lido deck where you could get a smoothie. No free but available.;) Could've swore I saw it on the Legend last February.
